What Causes The Civil War?
The Civil War started because the differences point of view between the free and slaves states over the Nation Government to prohibit the slavery in the territory in the land that had no become a state, when Abraham Lincoln won his first election in 1860 as the first Republican president and with the idea of keep the slavery out of the territories but seven states in the deep south seceded and formed their own nation, the Confederate States of America and the rest of the nation( the north) refused to recognize the separation of the states, they feared saw the separation of the nation as the creation of a fatal precedent that will eventually create a no-longer United States becoming a group of the several small countries

The Civil War was a time of great social and political progress, also a time of great technological changes. Inventors and military men devised new types of weapons such as the rifle, the submarine, the railroad and the telegraph, this innovations did not just changes the way people fougth wars, they also changed the way people lived
The Rifle
The rifle with minie bullets were easy and quick to loadm but soldiers still had to pause and reload after each shot. By 1863 there was another option, called prepeating rifles, or weapons that could fire more than one bullet before needing a reload.
like many other Civil Technologiesm, these weapons were available to northern troops but not southern ones becasue the confederacy factories neither the equipment nor the know-how to produce these weapons

Other new weapon took the air, for example, Union spies floated above confederate encampments and battle lines in passanger ballons, sending information back to their commanders via telegraph, , also the new technologies came to the sea, the ¨Iron-Clad¨ was a warship that maintaining a Union blockeade of Confederate ports.
For their part, Confederate sailors tried to sink these ironclads with submarines,this new weapons gave confederates the control of the sea, the first submarine call it Confederate C.S.S. Hunley, was a metal tube of 40 feet long and 4 feet across, and a 8-man crew.
In 1864 the hunley sank the Union blockade ship Housatonic off the coast of Charleston, but was itself damage in the process

Clara Barton (1821-1912)
Clara Barton dedicates her life to help others in times of need, in home but also abroad, in peace time as well as during military emergencies, she became a teacher, worked in the patent office and independent nurse in the Civil War, in her life living in Europe she worked in the International Red Cross and she brings this organization to North America being the first President of the America Red Cross, she help soldiers in any way tha she could, she collected and distributed asupplies for the Union Army
African American in the Civil War
The issue of the Emancipation Proclamation the Africans Americans, both- free and runaway from slavery went to volunteer to the Union troops in big numbers, after they become free, 180,000 African Americans volunteer in the U.S Army and right after they become part of the Union Army, they started to attack the Confederate State and the first attack of the United States Colored Troops was at Island Mound , Missouri, the African American soldiers constitute 10% of the entire Union Army

The Assassination of President Lincoln
Abraham Lincoln dies from a bullet shooted by John Wilkes Booth, an actor and Confederate Sympathizer, the Presidents Death came only six days after the Confederate General Robert E. Lee surrendered his army and eventually ending the Civil War.
